I just received a notice about VMWare holding a number of half day workshops this June. They'll go through how to use the products effectively, both discussing ideas and doing live demo's. This event is actually free -- and those who attend get a free copy of VMWare Workstation 5. It was hard to pass up, so I signed up (though I'll have to take off work, for some reason they won't give me half a day even if they save $200 on the product... odd). Since it's during the summer, Shana decided to attend as well. You can see the locations, schedule, as well as sign up here. |

| I signed up for the DC/Reston one. I'll have to see if my time really works out for it, but seems o good opportunity. Which one are you going to? | ||

| Hey, that's cool! I'll be at the one near Philly (King of Prussia), which is only 1.5 hours away. In mid-June, it shouldn't be too hot yet, so that should be a fun drive with the windows down :-) | ||

| I'm interested in going to this event as well (Philly, the 16th). Interested in carpooling? Know of others that are going? | ||

| Hey Doug, I know of 3-4 people going. Carpooling was mentioned, but never confirmed :-) That's definitely a good idea. I'm not sure whether Shana and I can or not -- we may end up going to the mall there, or perhaps all the way into Philly. I'll know closer to the date though -- I can send a note to the list asking who all wants to carpool close to then. Did they still have some spots open? | ||
