I've recently discovered the joys of ebay. Prior to now, I haven't had a need or desire to really use it.

However, a handful of the CD's I've been looking for are long since out of print. It's provided a means to get my hands on some things I'd otherwise have no idea how to get ahold of. Plus, I also discovered that many of the Cd's I'm looking for which aren't out of print are on Ebay at cheaper rates than I've found elsewhere. Long live ebay :-)

This year's Christmas Price Index is now available. Prices really went up this year, and it looks like you can definitely save by purchasing on the Net versus a retail store (5.7% increase versus 6.1%). Many of the services remained the same, it was largely products shooting up in price. One of the highest of which is gold, which shot up 27.5%. Youch.

Michael Roe (of the 77's) and Michael Pritzl (of The Violet Burning) toured together this fall, naming their tour "Roe Vs Pritzl". It was yet another excellent show.

I had the opportunity to see them not once, not twice, but three times in our area. Each show was completely different, and I'm thrilled that I had the chance to see them a few times. I look forward to them again soon :-)
